Lori is too used to Rick being a pushover. She certainly doesn’t seem to respect Daryl the way that Rick does so she ignores how much he’s done for the group. She doesn’t know how to approach him let alone how to talk to him after what happened at the barn. She doesn’t comprehend the significance of Daryl and Carol’s relationship and why he put so much into looking for her daughter without being asked. She’s completely oblivious to the fact that he isn’t just some foot soldier taking orders and that he’s grieving in his own way even if it isn’t not what she’s used to. She got exactly the reaction she deserved.
